Cold bending of armor plate
Follow these guidelines to avoid cracks when cold bending:
Large enough indenter radius and mold fulcrum spacing;
Bending by the tensile side and the edge of the plate must be polished, rounded edges at right angles;
Indenter and mold fulcrum must be smooth;
Particularly necessary when heated to below 250 ºC.
