12L14 is a Re-Sulphurised, Re-Phosphorised Free Machining Steel. This premium grade of free cutting steel is ideal for repetitive high-speed machining applications.
Engineers and general machining professionals rely on it for a wide variety of applications. It offers outstanding machinability and is suitable for case hardening.
It is also excellent for electroplating.

Due to its lead content, 12L14 is not recommended for welding as it poses a health hazard.

*Bars from different heats will not be mixed and dispatched.
*Bars will be bundled and securely metal strapped in 3 minimum places along the bar length and tagged properly.
* For further processing products such as cold drawn/peeled or heat treated goods, plastic bag wrapping or pallet loading is available according to customer demands.
