12L14 is a re-sulphurised, re-phosphorised free machining steel. This premium grade is exceptional for repetition machining.

12L14 is a premium free cutting steel grade, ideal for high production and repetition machining.
10. 12L14 Welding
Welding is not recommended for 12L14 due to its lead content, which presents a health hazard.
11. Steel Bar Packing:
* Bars from different heats will not be mixed for dispatch.
* Bars will be bundled and securely metal strapped at three points along the bar length and properly tagged.
* For further processing, such as cold drawn/peeled or heat-treated goods, plastic bag wrapping or pallet loading is available according to customer demands.
