12L14 is a re-sulphurized, re-phosphorized free machining steel. This premium grade of free cutting steel is extensively used for repetition work.
Engineers and general machinists employ it for a myriad of applications due to its excellent machinability. Ideal for case
hardening and electroplating.

12L14 is not recommended for welding due to its lead content, which poses health risks.
11. Steel Bar Packing:
*Bars from different heats will not be mixed and dispatched.
*Bars will be bundled and securely metal strapped in at least 3 places along the bar length, with proper tagging.
* For further processing, products such as cold drawn/peeled or heat-treated goods can be plastic bag wrapped or pallet loaded as per customer's demands.
