12L14 is a Re-Sulphurised, Re-Phosphorised Free Machining Steel. This premium grade of free cutting steel is used in repetitive
engineering and general machining applications. It boasts excellent machinability and is suitable for case
hardening and electroplating.

12L14 is a premium free cutting steel grade, ideal for all types of high production and repetitive machining.
10. 12L14 Welding
12L14 is not recommended for welding due to its lead content, which poses a health hazard.

* Bars from different heats will not be mixed and dispatched.
* Bars will be bundled and securely metal strapped in 3 places along the bar length and tagged properly.
* For further processing products like cold drawn/peeled or heat-treated goods, plastic bag wrapping or pallet loading is available according to customer's demands.
