12L14 free-cutting steel is a lead-sulfur composite free-cutting structural steel, which meets the limit requirements of the European Union ROHS Directive 2002/95/EC Renewal Directive 2011/65/EU Appendix II (lead content in alloying elements in steel is less than 0.35%) ) Testing requirements.

12L14 is a free-cutting structural steel that is produced to accommodate machining automation and production lines. This type of steel can be machined with higher cutting speeds and deeper cutting weights, and the cutting resistance is reduced due to the easy-cutting elements added to the steel and the compound is formed by the addition of the elements themselves and the resulting compound.
