12L14 is a re-sulphurized, re-phosphorized free machining steel. This premium grade of free cutting steel is used by repetition
engineers and general machinists for a wide variety of applications. It has excellent machinability and is suitable for case
hardening and electroplating.

10. 12L14 Welding
12L14 is not recommended for welding due to its lead content, which is a health hazard.
11. Steel bar Packing:
*Bars from different heats will not be mixed and dispatched.
*Bars will be bundled and securely metal strapped in 3 minimum places along the bar length and tagged properly.
* For further processing of products such as cold drawn/peeled or heat-treated goods, plastic bag wrapping or pallet loading is available according to customer's demands.
