12L14 is a re-sulphurised, re-phosphorised free machining steel. This premium grade is ideal for high repetition machining processes.
Engineers and general machinists use 12L14 for a myriad of applications. Its outstanding machinability makes it perfect for case hardening and electroplating.

Welding is not recommended due to the lead content; it poses a health hazard.
11. Steel Bar Packing:
*Bars from different heats will not be mixed and dispatched.
*Bars will be bundled and securely metal strapped at three points along the bar length and tagged appropriately.
* For further processing, such as cold drawn/peeled or heat-treated goods, plastic bag wrapping or pallet loading is available as per customer's requirements.

Delivery time is 7-10 days for stock, and 30 days after order confirmation for new material.
